3rd Black Forest Book Fair“Blätterrauschen” from 08.05. to 10.05.2026 in the Kurhaus Hinterzarten
Regional and national publishers and authors will be exhibiting their latest and best works and offering them for sale in the Kurhaus Hinterzarten. The Black Forest Book Fair “Blätterrauschen” offers a broad supporting program with readings and discussion rounds.
After the successful book fairs in 2022 and 2024, “Blätterrauschen” will once again take place here at the Kurhaus Hinterzarten in 2026. From May 8 to 10, 2026, everything will revolve around books and authors from and about the Black Forest. The aim of the trade fair is to provide a stage for authors and publishers who come from the Black Forest or have a thematic focus on the region. Visitors can expect a varied program with readings, discussion rounds and, above all, direct contact with the people behind the books, with whom they can talk on site. All the works presented can be purchased on site.
The fair is organized and hosted by Hochschwarzwald Tourismus GmbH, Kulturverein Wälderleben e. V. and the Baeuchle bookshop. More than 30 regional publishers and authors have taken part in previous book fairs – a strong sign of the lively literary scene in the Black Forest.

The “DEHOGA environmental check”
The “DEHOGA Environmental Check” is the continuation of the energy campaign for the hospitality industry launched by the DEHOGA Federal Association together with the Federal Ministry for the Environment in 2006, in which almost 6,000 hospitality entrepreneurs are now participating. The “DEHOGA Environmental Check” was designed for the specific requirements of the hospitality industry and its predominantly small and medium-sized businesses. In addition to its industry relevance and practical relevance, it enables a fair and transparent comparison of the participating businesses.
Participants in the “DEHOGA Environmental Check” must undergo a critical review in the areas of energy and water consumption, waste and residual waste and food – for example, regional purchasing. Differentiated threshold values and requirements for the bronze, silver and gold award levels are defined for each of the four categories. The individual characteristics of the businesses are fully taken into account.
