A good 20 km northwest of Freiburg, the 556 m high former volcano towers directly on the Rhine. Almond trees and meadows are already in bloom here when skiers are still skiing on the Feldberg. Some of the wineries and winegrowers’ cooperatives produce legendary wines. Our tip: be sure to stop off!
