At the intersection of deeply incised valleys in the central Black Forest lies the town with “Germany’s highest waterfalls”. The Gutach plunges over several granite steps 163 m deep almost into the town center. They are illuminated in the evening until 10 pm. Triberg is a station on the legendary “Black Forest Railway.”
